JoJo's birthday

Last Fri 27 May our little darling princess officially turned 2. Since exam is over and it’s the last day of school, mummy wrote a letter to my teacher to excuse me from school on that day. And both our parents also took the day off to spend time with us. However, they wouldn’t tell us what the plans of the day were until late morning. Apparently, daddy & mummy had signed up for a photo shooting package at one of the bridal house for our “portraits” to be taken.

We started off the day with tim-sum breakfasts at Maxim. After breakfast, daddy & mummy dropped Ah-ma, JoJo and I home to rest before they went out to run some errands. Due to the photo shooting is at 3pm, they want to make sure JoJo has her beauty naps before going.

At the studio, a hair & make-up stylist che-che did make-ups for mummy, JoJo and me. Yes, even JoJo did make-ups. Then we proceeded to the shooting room for our “adventures”. Since JoJo is still too young to take instructions to pose for the camera, she got all the adults running and chasing and making funny faces just to make her smile and pose to the camera. It’s was a very tiring but fun experience for all of us. The session finally ended 2 hours later and we headed straight home as JoJo was already very sleepy then.

In the evening, we went to Straits Quay with the intention to have our dinner at Delicious which was highly recommended by a lot people. But sadly, it was full and the waiting line was very long. So we detoured to Secret Recipe instead and had a not so yummy meal there. Mummy was especially disappointed with her Dory in Lobster sauce which she claims her char-hor-fun which she got from the normal stall at the coffee shop also tasted so much better! Anyway, we enjoyed the day very much and could wait for 18June to view our photos from the studio.

We also want to wish our little darling a very very blessed belated birthday and may you grow finely to be a God-fearing girl. We pray that God’s blessings will shower upon you always and we love you very very much and you are super duper precious to us.

p/s. If you spotted "something" on the picture above, the answer is yes, mummy finally got herself an iPad2! She even had the sentence "This iPad2 belongs to the Yeapies, paid by ZoJo's educational funds" engraved on it! ISH ISH ISH! Where is justice???!!!
