My 1st TGIF

posted by XTX

Today, thanks to che-che for bugging daddy & mummy, we went to TGIF for lunch. Of course I wouldn't know was it's all about but che-che seemed to be pretty excited, so I guessed it must be a fun place.

I'm kinda confused at first when I was pushed into the place in my stroller because the place has lots of things hanging on the wall and ceiling. I found them very fascinating and refuses to sit still in my stroller as I wanted to "explore" them. So mummy had to carry me up and "entertain" me. See the funny thing she put on my collar? I don't like it and kept wanting to pull it out. Thank God mummy removed it later after much resistance from me. Ish!

I heard daddy placing the orders for mummy, a-ma, che-che & himself then only I knew this is a "mum mum" place. oohhh... guess what daddy "ordered" for me? --- "Jack Daniel expressed bm". Cool eh? ^o^

Ta Xiao Ta did it again!!!

I told mummy the title was very "deceiving" bcz it made people thought that I've gotten into some trouble... again.

The actual fact is I've gotten into something good instead of bad. On Wednesday, my principle came to our classes (graduating classes) and told us she is going to call out the names of the children whom will be receiving a prize during our graduation day and ....(drum roll please)....... MY NAME IS ON THE LIST!!!! This year I've won the prize for top scorer in English subject. My best friend Jolene had won the prize for Chinese. I do not know whom won the prize for Bahasa as I was already in cloud9 when teacher called my name. (mummy slap head)

Mummy & daddy were so proud of me bcz mummy said this was mainly my own efforts as she did not really coach me during my exams as that time she was in her confinement with baby Joan. Daddy though, did a brief revision with me. (mummy said must give daddy a bit of credit too wor). Thank you daddy. :)

Mummy and daddy now had to fulfill their promise to buy me a doll house if I get a prize. Mummy had checked out Toy'R'Us for the one that I like (same like the one Auntie Karen got for Eliana) but the one is no longer in stock and they had a bigger version of that which costs RM350++....

THUD... (this is the sound of mummy just fainted)........... o_O"

This is the doll house available in Toy'R'Us which is a bigger version of Eliana's. Now you know why mummy fainted....

Xiao Ta Xiao's first Starbucks

After the camp, we proceeded to Kl and stayed for a day. The main purpose of this trip is actually to fulfil mummy's bento frenzy. Because she wanted to go to Daiso to shop for her bento tools.

We first went to the Daiso in IOI Mall and here mummy shopped till she dropped. The next day, after checked out. We proceeded to 1U for our lunch and for a short stroll. Then we proceeded to The Curve, reason = there is another Daiso there. Aiyo, apparently, mummy has not "drop enough" yet. By the time we reached The Curve, it's about time for JoJo to have her milk and since we are unfamiliar with the mall, mummy decided to bottle feed JoJo bcz we don't know if the mall has any baby care room. Daddy also wanted his cup of coffee for the day, so there's when our dear little Xiao Ta Xiao had her first "Starbucks milk" @ less than 4mths old!

Breakthrough Camp 2009

This year we had our Breakthrough Camp in Kampar, Perak instead of Cinta Sayang in Alor Star. And the speaker for the camp is no longer Ps. Patricia and her team from Canada. It was Evangelist Shyju Mathew from India. Mummy said confession time – initially she felt a bit let down with the news and was contemplating not to go. One of the reasons was also that Baby Joan is still so young so there would be a lot more things to pack and daddy will be away in KL almost the whole of Sep, only returning on the night before camp. So mummy thought she could not handle so many things and all the packing. But, after returning from the camp, she was very pleased that she did not listen to her own self but instead she was obedient to God’s instruction as all of us were truly blessed in the camp.

We stayed in the Grand Kampar Hotel. I liked this hotel very much as the room was really huge. It has a king bed for daddy & mummy and also a baby cot for JoJo. As for me, I had brought along my Princess Ready Bed and even after setting up the bed, there are still ample spaces for me to roll and run around in the room. But, what I love most of the room is – they have a bath tub for me to have my bubble bath in!!!!

Though there are some hiccups in betweens, such as JoJo being sleepy and cranky in the services and mummy had to take her back to the room to sleep and missing some of the services, the rice was too hard to swallow, the meeting hall was too small (a lot of time mummy had to “attend” the service outside the room) etc. But nothing could stop God from moving and blessing us. In all, we had a great camp and enjoyed ourselves very much.

After the camp, we proceeded to KL and stayed at The Summit USJ for a night to do some shopping and came back home on Wed evening. The reason mummy doesn’t want to stay longer is because I actually has school and my exam will be coming soon next week so she don’t want me to ponteng so many days and missing all the revisions. But she promised that after my exam, if there is a chance, she would take us for a longer trip sometime near Christmas. Oh I just can't wait for our next holiday to come. =)
